Overnight Stays Payment Policy

 

For Overnight Stays, the Client acknowledges that half of the payment is due at booking and the second half is due by the last day of service. 

Client / Pet Nanny Agreement

The Prefurred Pet Nanny is authorized to perform care and services as outline in this contract. Both The Prefurred Pet Nanny and the Client recognize that the welfare of the animal is the highest priority. If The Prefurred Pet Nanny's judges that, to properly care for the animal during the service period, additional services are necessary, The Prefurred Pet Nanny will first make reasonable attempts to contact the Client. If the Client cannot be contacted for whatever reason, The Prefurred Pet Nanny is authorized to undertake such additional steps as may (in the reasonable judgment of The Prefurred Pet Nanny) be necessary or appropriate for the health and welfare of the animal, including but not limited to (a) additional visits by The Prefurred Pet Nanny to provide care for the animal; (b) consultation with the Client's Veterinarian, or with an emergency veterinary care provider should the Client's Veterinarian be unavailable; (c) authorizing care and treatment as recommended by the Client's Veterinarian or an emergency veterinary care provider (excluding euthanasia); and (d) such other steps as may in the reasonable judgment of The Prefurred Pet Nanny be necessary or appropriate for the health and welfare of the animal. The Client agrees to be responsible for all fees and expenses incurred for care and treatment of the animal pursuant to this agreement, and releases and holds The Prefurred Pet Nanny harmless from all liabilities related to transportation, treatment, and expense. The Client agrees to reimburse The Prefurred Pet Nanny for any expense(s) incurred, including but not limited to food, medicine, and supplies, plus any additional fees for attending to the animal's needs.

Weather

 

In the event of inclement weather or natural disaster, The Prefurred Pet Nanny is entrusted to use best judgment in caring for pet(s) and home. The Prefurred Pet Nanny will be held harmless for consequences related to such decisions.

Misconduct

 

The Prefurred Pet Nanny agrees to provide the services stated in this agreement in a reliable, caring, and trustworthy manner. In consideration of these services and as an express condition thereof, the Client expressly waives and relinquishes any and all claims against The Prefurred Pet Nanny arising out of or relating to the provision of services herunder, except those arising from gross negligence or willful misconduct on the part of The Prefurred Pet Nanny. Should The Prefurred Pet Nanny or any authorized person accompanying The Prefurred Pet Nanny sustain any injury, disease, or other harm in the course of providing services hereunder, the Client will indemnify The Prefurred Pet Nanny and hold it harmless with respect to all loss, expense, and damage cuased thereby, except those arising from gross negligence or willful misconduct on the part of The Prefurred Pet Nanny.

Contract

 

The Prefurred Pet Nanny and the Client each may terminate this contract at any time by written notice to the other. The Prefurred Pet Nanny will be entitled to payment for all services rendered until notice of termination is received, and for any transition services reasonably required to provide for the health and welfare of the Client's pet(s). The Prefurred Pet Nanny will not terminate during a period of scheduled service unless The Prefurred Pet Nanny determines, in his/her sole discretion, that a danger exists to the health or safety of The Prefurred Pet Nanny. If such concerns preclude The Prefurred Pet Nanny from providing further care of the pet, then Client authorizes pet(s) to be placed in a kennel, with all charges therefrom to be charged to the Client. Every attempt will be made to notify the Client regarding such a situation. The Client agrees to secure the home prior to leaving the premises before services. The Prefurred Pet Nanny is not liable for loss or damage in the event of a burglary or other crime which should occur while under this contract. The Client acknowledges that by signing below, he/she is providing written approval for the provision of services by The Prefurred Pet Nanny during any service period scheduled by Client and accepted by The Prefurred Pet Nanny. Upon such scheduling and acceptance, The Prefurred Pet Nanny will be authorized to enter Client's premises and perform services without additional signed contracts or written authorization.
